For CLSI, our work extended far beyond the public-facing rebrand — we also overhauled their legacy backend platform, a system used daily by thousands of scientific professionals around the world. This included rebuilding and redesigning five critical tools: myCLSI, eClipse, Commenting, Committees, and Editing. These platforms are the backbone of how global experts read, edit, and convene on the laboratory standards that drive consistent, safe science everywhere.

One of our biggest challenges was honoring the familiarity long-time power users depended on, while modernizing the experience so even a brand-new user could feel at ease. Through countless hours of user testing, journey mapping, and research, we redesigned the platform so users could seamlessly switch between tools without leaving the backend — a huge step forward from the fragmented experience of the past.

The result is a custom-built solution that balances usability and continuity, empowering CLSI’s global community to collaborate more effectively than ever before.
